2021 Registration Fees

Early Bird from November 1st until Registration day

$230 Individual / $430 Family (2 or more players)

After Registration Day

$250 Individual / $450 Family (2 or more players)

All fees are to be paid directly to the club by Bank Transfer, Cash/Cheque or EFTPOS at the club.

Rye Junior Football Club has an upfront registration fee policy, with no weekly participation fees. This fee includes player registration with the VCFL and MPJFL, cost of supplies during the season, Insurance for each player and Team photos.
Please note that NO player may take the field unless the balance of their fees are paid. All outstanding fees must be payed in full prior to round 1 each year. Generally there will be no exception to this ruling.



New to Junior Football?



Minimum Age requirement:
The starting age for under 10ís, is no more than two years less than the age group, and following age groups the same criteria applies. (e.g. under 9s will be 8 to 7 years old).
A player must be 7 years old by the 30th April.

Proof of age required:
New players will need to provide proof of age (e.g. Extract of Birth, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Welfare Centre Book, Immunisation Certificate) at time of registration payment. (Statutory Declarations will not be accepted as proof of age).

Junior Football for Girls:
Many girls prefer to play Australian Football in single gender environments, and where possible we recommend girls over age 10 do so. However, should your daughter prefer to play in mixed-gender team or competition they are permitted to do so until age 14.

How do I register to play junior footy:
Come down to one of our Pre-Season or Registration days along with a proof of age document as per above (Checkout our facebook page for more details) at RJ Rowley Reserve, Rye Clubrooms and chat with one of our committee members who will be happy to assist you.


Existing Player?


Transferring from another club:
Awesome! Contact our club Registrar to discuss further and to arrange a online transfer and start training and playing for Rye JFC asap! Transfers open in the month of November & again in February (Subject to League and club clearance).


Hardship Cases:
In special circumstances hardship cases will be considered provided a request is made in writing and emailed to the club at info@ryejfc.com.au. No requests will be considered after 15th March.
